A chat with Two Style Interiors

They have chosen our Nood Co basins in a range of their beautiful designs and we took a chance to chat with them about their Port Melbourne project featuring our Bowl Basin Two Tone in ivory.

We love this space and so does instagram. Can you tell us about the mood you were trying to achieve with this space?

Our recent Port Melbourne Project focused on creating an ambient space that exuded a calm and serene feel without compromising on all those luxurious features and details. With soft, tonal & natural textures, glimmers of brushed brass & a focus on playing with light and shade, we were able to deliver a glamorously calm & sophisticated space.

Tell us about the colours, patterns and material choices for this space and how they work together?

Our focus was to create a luxuriously bohemian feel inspired by Moroccan accents, focusing on the use of naturally textural materials. Each tile tells a different story, showcasing a different characteristic. We loved how each time you immersed yourself into the space you would discover something new that would spark joy. We wanted to highlight the element of light through the frosted windows and accent lighting to create that soothing calm ambience.

The hexagonal floor tiles feature a rustic brushed terracotta texture which added just the right amount of colour and contrast without weighing down and feeling to heavy in the space. The collective of these materials helped us achieve a harmonious connection between both our fixtures and tile selections.

Tell us about your Nood selection? Why did you select that design and colour?

Nood was an obvious choice for us. Not only was the Two-Tone Basin in Ivory connecting with our colour palette and aesthetic. It chimed into our idea of playing with light and dark shades to create that elevated calm.
